87 West started with a simple question: why didn't Fairhope have a bar like this? A proper bar — one where the drinks are made with care, the lighting is right, and you actually want to stay for another round.
We took over a space on the west end of town and got to work. Exposed brick. Raw beams. A bar island that becomes the centre of the room. The lighting was dialled until it felt right. The spirits were chosen one by one. The cocktail list went through more rounds of revision than anyone cares to admit.
What you get is 87 West — a place that feels like it's been here for years, even if you're walking in for the first time. We're on Fairhope Avenue. The door's open.
